Vice President of Field Operations
In this position, Bealhen is tasked with leading and controlling the functions and operations of the Underwriting and Loss Control Services departments for United Heartland field offices.
Bealhen has served as the director of Regional Operations for United Heartland since 2011. In this role, he was responsible for leading claims, loss control and underwriting disciplines in a four-state region, generating $59 million in written premium. He was also responsible for agency management and premium growth — increasing written premium by approximately $50 million while maintaining a combined ratio of 89.6%. Prior to that, Bealhen worked as a regional underwriting manager and senior underwriter with United Heartland. He has been responsible for an increasing amount of premium and territory since joining the organization in 2000.
Bealhen is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to the Green Bay Packers and the University of Wisconsin (UW)-Whitewater Warhawks, but most of his free time is spent coaching youth sports in his community. Bealhen is a certified coach for youth softball and baseball.
Bealhen has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety from UW-Whitewater, a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and is a graduate of Accident Fund Holdings’ Accelerated Leadership Program.
