April 22, 2016

United Heartland, a leading national workers’ compensation insurance company, was named to the list of best places to work in southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in their seventh annual Top Workplaces survey.  United Heartland was selected in the Midsize Workplaces category.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award for a sixth consecutive year,” said Steve Cooper, president of United Heartland. “Our first-in-class customer service is our highest priority and a top work environment helps United Heartland employees provide service that separates us from the competition.  We care deeply about our employees, customers, and agents and this care is evident through our high-touch service model and our knowledgeable employees who enable us to distinguish ourselves by delivering on the promises we make.  The result is highly satisfied customers and agents.”

The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. The award recognizes 25 large companies with 500 or more employees, 50 midsize companies with 150 to 499 employees and 75 small companies of 50 to 149 employees.

“This award is not a popularity contest,” said Doug Claffey, chief executive officer of WorkplaceDynamics.  “To be a top workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health as affirmed by employees of the organization.”
